Nibbler Grindmaster
Our own grinding machine that facilitates and streamlines your work at punching machines.
Nibbler Grindmaster is designed for quick and easy sharpening of punches and pads for all makes of punching machines. The machine’s automatic control means that the operator does not need to monitor the grinding, but can engage in the punching machine while the tools are being ground. Mounting a tool and starting a grinding takes approx. 30 seconds. To grind 0.1mm on a smaller tool takes approx. 1.5 minutes. When grinding is complete, the machine returns to standby mode and shuts down.

The tripod – the machine has a dumb stand of cast iron which gives high stability.
The protective cover – the machine has a protective hatch that opens and closes automatically with pneumatics.
Compensation – no manual adjustments are needed to compensate for the wear of the grinding wheel as this occurs automatically during the reference run.
The grinding space – thanks to the design of the protective hatch, the grinding space is easily accessible from three sides for mounting tools and cleaning.
The cooling machine is equipped with a well-tested closed system for the coolant.
The control panel – the machine has an HMI with a very simple and user-friendly interface so anyone can use the machine.
Positioning – The positioning is done with an AC servo motor over a precision gear and ball screw. Double linear units with four trolleys provide a very stable storage.
Tool sensing – the tool to be tightened need not be mounted at any particular height when the machine automatically detects the tool before the grinding begins
